Go through mythical trials in this strategy game

12 Labours of Hercules is a premium strategy game where players will be able to take on the role of the mythological hero Hercules as he attempts to save his wife. In this casual game from Jetdogs Studios, you will come across other notable characters and monsters from Greek mythology, as well.

12 Labours of Hercules’ gameplay is quite similar to that of games like Island Tribe 2, you will need to manage your time as you try to repair a number of paths, fight off enemies, and build constructs all at the same time.

Battle mythical creatures

At its core, 12 Labours of Hercules follows the familiar pattern of completing goals and managing resources under time pressure. However, what sets it apart is the remarkable depth it offers to players. With over 40 levels to get through and a variety of challenges, players can look forward to hours’ worth of exciting gameplay. The inclusion of mini-boss levels adds a delightful twist to the gameplay.

In addition to the previously mentioned features, this time management game makes use of high-quality visuals that create a more stunning and immersive in-game experience. The game’s use of bright, colorful, cartoonlike art makes it appealing to different players—younger demographics in particular. All of these add to the well-made and engaging voiced cutscenes that help portray the plot.

Another notable feature is the variety of achievements that players can attempt to collect over time. These achievements can be obtained by going through the various levels, as well as the different mini-games. Something to note, however, is that the gameplay for the main levels can become repetitive. Once you’ve managed to obtain all the achievements, there’s not much appeal left in the replayability, either.

Entertaining but repetitive

12 Labours of Hercules delivers an engaging and immersive gameplay experience with a variety of challenges and a stunning in-game environment. It's challenging enough to warrant enough hours of gameplay while still appealing to younger players. However, the repetitive gameplay can become boring over time, and completing all the achievements leaves nothing else to do when you want to replay the game.

PROS

  • Appealing cartoonish aesthetic
  • More than 40 levels with various mini-games
  • Appropriate for all ages
  • Numerous achievements to obtain
